Potrero / Flamingo Beach is located in the Guanacaste Province, which is the Northwestern Pacific side of the country. You can reach Potrero from either of the two major airports in Costa Rica.

San Jose - Juan Santa Maria Airport (SJO)

This airport is located about 5 hours by car from Potrero. However from the San Jose airport you can take a 45 minute commuter flight to the Tamarindo Airstrip which is located about 15 minutes from Flamingo by car or taxi.Getting from the Liberia airport to Potrero:

This airport is located about 45 minutes from Potrero.
